OpenAI Codex release notes: pin tasks in Command Center
Pinned tasks appear first in the agent Command Center's Pinned group. Codex loads them from a shared section, including tasks outside the recent-task window. Search and status filters still apply.
Human step
Select a task in Command Center and press p to pin or unpin it. You can customize the key binding through agents.toggle_pin. Pinning is disabled when the server does not support shared sections.

Copy responses and code blocks with /copy
The /copy command selects the latest completed response directly in the conversation view. You can then choose other blocks without selecting text with the mouse. Codex preserves the source content for code and quotes.
Human step
- Type
/copyin Codex. - Use the arrow keys or
jandkto navigate user messages, code blocks, and blockquotes. UsegandGto jump to the beginning or end. - Press Enter to copy or Escape to close the mode.
Codex pauses queued submissions until copy mode closes and reports clipboard results in the transcript footer. You operate both features in the interface; neither needs a special agent prompt.
