Google Antigravity release notes: 2.13.0 organizes documents and filters code diffs

Google Antigravity 2.13.0 gives external documents their own sidebar section and lets you hide whitespace-only edits during code review. The update applies to the Antigravity app, Google's workspace for AI agents, and is dated September 9, 2026. Google rolls out versions gradually, so the update may take a few days to reach all users.

Google Antigravity release notes: Documents and Scratch Files

Google Drive links, PDFs, and Office documents now appear in the Documents section above Artifacts in the sidebar. The agent's temporary working files also get a separate, collapsible Scratch Files section instead of appearing among the main artifacts. Artifacts here are files and other material from the agent's work.

Code and data files such as SQL and JSONL now open in a virtualized viewer with syntax highlighting, line numbers, and inline comments. The viewer keeps the app responsive when opening large files.

Human step: hide whitespace changes during review

In the Review Changes overflow menu, or in file diff viewers, select "Hide Whitespace Changes". A diff viewer compares two versions of a file. The new option filters out whitespace-only edits; it is a display filter, not an instruction for the agent to modify files.

The Documents and Scratch Files sections also help you find documents and temporary working files without searching through the same list. These changes work through the interface and do not need a special agent prompt.
