Claude Code: role-based access to cloud sessions and Remote Control
Custom roles group permissions that an organization can assign to users. This change covers access to Claude Code cloud sessions and Remote Control, the feature for connecting to a local session from another device.
When an administrator enables Cloud sessions or Remote Control in admin settings, the interface now asks for confirmation. It also lists the custom roles that have the relevant permission, showing which roles are affected before the feature is enabled.
Human step: As an organization Owner, open Organization settings > Roles to check the user's roles. Remote Control requires both the cloud sessions permission and Claude Code remote control when an Enterprise organization manages access through custom roles. An Owner must also enable Remote Control in Claude Code admin settings.
