Google Antigravity release notes: 2.26.0 keeps the message box open

Google Antigravity 2.26.0 lets you keep typing while a question or permission request waits for an answer. The app also gains conversation filters and a dedicated notifications page. The update applies to the standalone Antigravity app, Google's workspace for AI agents, and is dated October 22, 2026. It rolls out gradually and may take a few days to reach all users.

Google Antigravity release notes: keep typing while a question waits

Questions and permission requests now sit above the message box instead of replacing it. You can keep typing or queue a follow-up message while the prompt is open.

This changes where the prompt appears. The release notes do not say that a queued message answers the question or approves the requested action.

Human step: filter conversations and choose notification sounds

  • Open Conversations with Cmd+P on macOS or Ctrl+P on Windows and Linux. Its filter and sort menu lets you sort by Last Updated or Last Prompt and filter by unread, automations, or archived conversations.
  • Open Notifications in Settings to manage notification preferences, turn completion sounds on or off, and adjust agent sound volume.

The release also fixes a failed undo that could silently reset the transcript and overwrite the draft in the message box. Connection errors after waking from sleep or changing Wi-Fi networks now trigger automatic retries instead of stopping the agent.
